The logo and visual identity for Mona Fita were developed to address a specific business need. The studio opened in a busy area of Dublin, located on the first floor, which made strong visual visibility essential. The design needed not only to overcome this challenge but also to reflect the owner’s many years of experience in the industry. As the main seamstress in the business, she is well known for the exceptional quality of her work and craftsmanship. The logo was therefore designed to be clear, distinctive, and easily recognisable from a distance. Its bold circular form creates a strong visual presence, helping the brand stand out and attract the attention of both passing drivers and pedestrians in this high-traffic area.
Logo & Visual Identity Design for a Luxury Handbag Brand in Ireland
The logo for Sofia 1990 was created to reflect the character and vision of the brand. The goal of the design was to capture a sense of timeless elegance and understated luxury while creating a visual identity that feels refined, confident, and distinctive. During the design process, particular attention was given to typography, balance, and proportions. The aim was to create a logo that feels classic yet modern, allowing it to work seamlessly across different applications such as packaging, product tags, website, and printed materials. Every element was carefully considered to ensure the logo communicates quality, elegance, and attention to detail. The final design gives Sofia 1990 a strong, recognisable identity that reflects the brand’s elegance and timeless character.
Commemorative Poster Design Honouring James David Bourchier
This poster was created to commemorate the remarkable life of James David Bourchier, an Irish journalist born near Bruff, County Limerick, who became an important historical figure closely connected with Bulgaria. The poster combines historical photographs and information based on research presented in Martin O’Brien’s book, James David Bourchier – The History of the Bulgarian National Hero Born in Limerick, Ireland. It also features a collection of all postage stamps issued with Bourchier’s portrait, highlighting how his legacy has been honoured. The project highlights the fascinating connection between Ireland and Bulgaria while celebrating the legacy of an Irish figure who became a national hero.
